Panda calls are encrypted so no one else can get into them, Panda keeps no recording of them, and your IP address travels via the Panda server rather than reaching the person you are talking to.

With no account, there is no personal data on file to begin with. What Panda cannot control is the other screen: the person you talk to could capture what you show or say and use it in a way you would not like. So keep your phone number, social media handles and home address off the first call, however friendly it gets. A first name is plenty for a good conversation. If someone asks for your number, saying you would rather keep talking here is a perfectly good answer.

Consent works the same way on both sides. Whatever you show on camera is up to you, and what the other person shows is up to them, and if a conversation is heading somewhere new, ask before you take it there. Anyone who is not comfortable can press Next, and if someone is rude or pushy, Report is right there during the call. Saying no is enough on its own, and nobody owes an explanation for leaving a call.

Panda is for people aged 18 and over. Spam and selling have no place here, and anything that breaks the rules can be taken down, sometimes along with the account.
